Dr. Sara Alshareef is the founder & CEO at Solu International, Saudi-led, Miami based advisory firm. She leads high-impact initiatives at the intersection of strategy, global partnerships, and cultural diplomacy. Her work centers on designing and executing growth strategies that drive investment attraction, foster cross-border collaboration, and position organizations for long-term international expansion.

She spearheads the activation of strategic partnerships, aligning public and private sector stakeholders to unlock new market opportunities and accelerate innovation. A key focus of her leadership is cultivating investor relationships and creating compelling value propositions that attract capital and support sustainable development.

In parallel, she curates cultural and educational exchange programs that strengthen international ties, promote knowledge transfer, and elevate global engagement. Her approach integrates economic development with cultural intelligence, ensuring initiatives are both commercially viable and socially impactful.

Additionally, she develops and scales soft-landing programs that enable companies and growth stage companies to successfully enter and thrive in new markets and business integration.

She is also a co-founder of MENAGEN (Middle East and North Africa Gender & Enterprise Network), hosted by MBSC College of Business and Entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia and supported by Babson College’s BGCEL. Through this platform, she advises policymakers and promotes research on gender and entrepreneurship across the MENA region. Her academic contributions include journal articles, book chapters, and case studies focusing on Saudi women entrepreneurs and daughters in Saudi family firms.

Dr. Sara Alshareef is an Affiliate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Florida Atlantic University, where she works closely with student ventures, mentoring cohorts through capstone projects and accelerator programs. Her work focuses on venture development, attracting investment, and supporting innovation ecosystems, including serving as a judge for global moonshot competitions. Over the years, she has supported thousands of ventures and businesses across Florida in areas such as capital access, international trade, government contracting, and SBIR/STTR funding.

Dr. Alshareef holds a PhD in entrepreneurship from Royal Holloway university of London. MSc in Management from Birbeck College, Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and Bachelor degree in International Business from King Abdulaziz University. 

Sara has actively contributed to the global entrepreneurship dialogue by presenting at international conferences and organizing and leading panel discussions focused on women’s entrepreneurship and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

As the General Manager of Education and Talent Development at Saudi Arabia’s Museum Commission (Ministry of Culture), she plays a pivotal role in delivering initiatives aligned with Vision 2030, fostering innovation at the intersection of education, culture, and the creative economy.

Dr. Alsaraj is the driving force behind landmark projects such as the International Conference for Education and Innovation in Museums (ICEIM) and the launch of the first postgraduate and master’s program in Museum Studies in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with SOAS, University of London. These programs are reshaping the landscape of cultural education in the Kingdom and setting new standards for regional excellence.

With international academic and professional experience at leading institutions around the world including University of Miami, UCL, University of London, and UC Berkeley, Dr. Alsaraj brings a global perspective to local challenges. Her work focuses on program innovation, skills development, and bridging the gap between academic learning and labor market needs, particularly in emerging cultural and creative sectors.

Dr. Alsaraj is a British Council Social Impact Award recipient, MISK 2030 Leader, and member of the Saudi Leadership Society. 

Dr. Alsaraj holds a Ph.D. from UCL, University of London, masters and undergraduate from University of Miami. She has served on the Future of Work and Education task force in the B20 in Saudi Arabia in 2020, Indonesia in 2022, and in South Africa 2025, where she contributes to shaping global education policy and workforce readiness strategies.
